t9.28.07 Bob King -- kingBLINK1002c1 -- The Harvest Moon was an attraction for many last week along Brighton Beach in Duluth. I wandered down on a windy night and stumbled around with a tripod on the rocks hoping to catch the moonrise. Clouds near the horizon unfortunately marred the view. But the rocky ledges near the water's edge glistened in an intriguiing way as the moon ascended, and when a truck stopped on the road farther up the beach, its taillights added their own touches of color to the scene. The vehicle stayed put long enough to allow for three 25 second exposures. Interestingly, the waves were very lively that night but the time exposure blurred them into tranquillity.
